Founder, It's Up To You! Academy
Jackie Brown's career in real estate didn't start with a license — it started with a loan. In the late 1980s and early 90s, she was working as a loan processor, learning the industry from the ground up. In 2004, she got her real estate license and began what would become a more than two-decade journey of selling, teaching, building, and giving back.
Today, Jackie is an active real estate agent with eXp Realty and the founder of It's Up To You! Academy. She holds dual roles that few professionals manage — she works real transactions with real clients, and she teaches from that experience inside the classroom. Her students don't just hear theory. They hear what it actually looks like in practice.
As a licensed real estate educator, Jackie has served on boards, chaired events, and built programs designed to elevate the standard of professional education in her field. She is an active member of GREEA, NAMAR, and the National Association of REALTORS® — and a recognized voice in the Atlanta metro real estate community.
But Jackie's work has never been limited to real estate alone. She is a published author, a singer-songwriter, a Marketplace Chaplain, and the host and creator of her own TV show, It's Up To You! — a platform she launched in 2014 to share inspiring stories and help guests and viewers pursue their own dreams.
Whether she's helping a family navigate a real estate transaction, guiding a professional through a niche specialization program, or mentoring someone discovering their purpose, Jackie shows up the same way: present, prepared, and fully committed to the people in front of her. It's a standard rooted in something deeper than ambition — and it shows in everything she builds.

Jackie launched her own television show as a platform to inspire. Each episode features stories of people overcoming challenges and pursuing their dreams — a natural extension of the same mission she brings to her Academy work.

Jackie is a published author and singer-songwriter who uses creative work as a vehicle for encouragement and truth. Her creative output reflects the same belief that drives her professional life: that every person has something worth building on.
Marketplace Chaplain
Jackie served as a Marketplace Chaplain — a role that brought faith, care, and presence into professional environments. It was an expression of her conviction that the marketplace is not separate from calling; it is part of it.
Affordable Housing Advocate
In 2020, Jackie was awarded a grant for her affordable housing project — recognition of her commitment to using real estate expertise in service of her community, not just her career.
Non-Profit & Board Involvement
Throughout her career, Jackie has been involved in several professional and non-profit organizations — serving on boards, chairing events, and showing up where her skills and presence can make a difference.
